Answering Some Questions that You Might Have in Mind
1. What is the ideal time for going on this trek?

The months between June and October are ideally the best time for the Chandrashila trek. If you go during the spring season, the Chopta Chandrashila Deoriatal trek will give you a glimpse of how vibrant the colours of the Himalayas can be. In summer, it will be mostly shades of reds and pinks, primarily due to the rhododendron flowers growing there. It will be largely misty during winter and you will have plenty of chances to throw snowballs at your friends and family members!

The guides provided by us are going to be experienced and certified. Apart from local guides, there will a whole team also comprising of local personnels, who will be assistant trek leader, cook, helpers, porters etc.

5. Is it advisable for girls to go alone?

The tents will be made available on a sharing basis. But a female will share a tent with trekkers of the same gender.

6. How many people share a tent?

Generally three people will be put up in one tent.

7. How fit do the trekkers have to be?

To complete this trek successfully, one needs to have a good amount of mental as well as physical fitness. For a novice trekker, the Chandrashila trek is an apt one for getting introduced to high altitude treks.

8. What kind of food can we expect during the trek?

All the meals that will be served by us will be nutritious and wholesome. Expect vegetarian fare as that’s preferred in high altitudes and can be digested easily too.

9. Where is the Chopta Valley Viewpoint?

The Chopta Valley Viewpoint is located in the Lachen city of the state of Sikkim.
